A Completely New Solution for 3D Milling
Based on integration with WORKNC, the highend CAM system produced by SMIRTware’s sister company Sescoi, customers can enjoy all of the benefits of SMIRT, such as usability, visualization, assembly navigation and process management, to easily extract and prepare data for 3D toolpath computation. Customers can then launch WORKNC directly from within SMIRT to compute the toolpath quickly and efficiently. WORKNC is recognized as one of the best in class CAM systems on the market today.
Major Enhancements to SMIRT DieBuild
New functions have been added to the SMIRT manufacturing planning module, such as operation level attributes for better reporting and process management, ability to split processes, support to duplicate processes on mirrored parts, and improved communication thanks to end user's shop notes.
A New Product Is Born – SMIRT Schedule
This product is fully integrated with DieBuild processes and operations. Operation status automatically gets updated from the check off actions on the shop floor from the DieBuild plan. Enter the due dates for the completion of the tools being built. All latest possible start dates for all the operations from all the jobs are calculated and automatically assigned to the departments. Once in the department “queue”, each work cell is automatically assigned operations based on the recommended priority from the due dates.

Improvements to SMIRT DieNc
The SMIRT module for planar milling and drilling, supplies an improved methodology to manage drilling tasks from a SMIRT DieBuild manufacturing plan. Other improvements to drilling paths and a better management of head rotation with ball nose cutters, are just a few of the many other enhancements included.
